About Karima

Karima (OldeEly Leal Cascata) was born on 2nd of September 2021 at the OldeEly kennel, bred by Wendy Downing-Smith.

She is a brown female with a full scissor bite, combining elegance, presence, and an exceptionally balanced temperament. Karima is a daughter of our male Jonatan Rarach z Kasétek, from whom she inherits her strong type, excellent temperament, and natural working drive.

Like all our dogs, Karima is fully health tested and carefully monitored within our breeding programme.

Although Karima is slightly on the lower end of the breed’s height standard for females, this is fully compensated by her outstanding temperament, balance, and overall quality. Her size has never limited her in any way, and she consistently proves herself to be a strong and capable brood bitch, easily raising large and healthy litters with confidence and ease.

Karima is a truly special member of our family, not only because of her pedigree but above all because of her character. She is the most active dog in our pack, always ready to engage, work, and be involved in everything happening around her. Her drive and enthusiasm are natural, yet always well controlled and directed towards her handler.

At the same time, she is one of the kindest and most stable females we have. She is affectionate, people-oriented, and extremely easy to read in all situations. Her calm confidence makes her highly trainable and willing to cooperate, which makes her both a wonderful companion and an excellent brood bitch.

For me personally, Karima has been a true teacher. I experienced my very first whelpings with her, and she has since proven herself to be an outstanding mother. She whelps and raises her puppies with ease, calmness, and complete cooperation, making the whole process natural, smooth, and deeply reassuring.

Karima has already produced two litters, in which she consistently passes on her best qualities – type, temperament, willingness to work, and stable character.

She represents a perfect balance of energy and calmness, strength and gentleness. In everyday life, she is a dog who follows her people with attentive eyes, always close but never demanding. Her presence within the pack brings harmony and balance.

Karima combines working ability, excellent trainability, and natural elegance. She is a dog that does not go unnoticed – not only because of her appearance, but above all because of her personality, which leaves a lasting impression on everyone who meets her.
